Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan anak di usia 5-6 tahun yang belum sesuai dengan tahap perkembangannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran make a match terhadap kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest- posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di Tk Aisyiyah 1 Labuhan Ratu yang berjumlah 10 anak dengan menggunakan teknik purpossive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji Wilcoxon signed rank test. Berdasarkan hasil data yang diperoleh menunjukan adanya pengaruh dari penggunaan metode pembelajaran make a match terhadap kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun hasil analisis data diperoleh Asymp.sig sebesar 0,005 dan hipotesis penelitian diterima jika Asymp.sig < 0,05. Maka nilai signifikansi penelitian ini lebih kecil dari 0,05 dan hipotesis diterima. Kata kunci: anak usia dini, make a match, kemampuan mengenal lambang bilangan The problem in this study is that the ability of children aged 5–6 years to recognize number symbols is not yet in accordance with their developmental stage. This research aims to determine the effect of using the Make a Match learning method on the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 5–6 years. The research method used is an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study consisted of 10 children aged 5–6 years at TK Aisyiyah 1 Labuhan Ratu, selected using purposive sampling. The data collection technique used was observation. The data analysis technique employed in this study was the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Based on the results obtained, there was an effect of using the Make a Match learning method on the ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 5–6 years. The data analysis showed an Asymp. Sig. value of 0.005, and the research hypothesis is accepted if Asymp. Sig. < 0.05. Therefore, the significance value in this study is less than 0.05, and the hypothesis is accepted.
