Abstract

ABSTRAK Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pentingnya keterampilan berbicara untuk dikembangkan sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media boneka tangan terhadap keterampilan berbicara anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian Quasi Experiment dan desain penelitian non equivalent controlgrup design yaitu dengan melibatkan dua kelompok yaitu kelompok kontrol dan kelompok eksperimen. Sampel penelitian ini adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun yang berjumlah 19 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi berupa checklist. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan nilai signifikan U hitung = 0,000 ˂ U tabel = 0,05 maka Ha diterima, yang artinya terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media boneka tangan terhadap keterampilan berbicara anak usia 5-6 tahun di kelompok B1 TK Asa Al-Barkati. Kata kunci : anak usia dini, media boneka tangan, keterampilan berbicara ABSTRACT The problem in this study is the importance of speaking skills to be developed from an early age. This study aims to determine the effect of using hand puppet media on the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years. This research is a quantitative study with a Quasi Experiment research method and a non-equivalent control group design research design that involves two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group. The sample of this study was 5- 6 year old children totaling 19 children. Data collection techniques using observation techniques in the form of checklists. The data analysis technique in this study used the Mann Whitney test. The results of the Mann Whitney test show a significant value of U count = 0.000 ˂ U table = 0.05, so Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of using hand puppet media on the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years in group B1 TK Asa Al-Barkati.
