Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Kota Bandar Lampung menghadapi tantangan pada sektor pendidikan berupa akses yang tidak merata, dimana terdapat upaya yang diusahakan melalui sebuah kebijakan berupa sistem zonasi dalam Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru. Sistem zonasi bertujuan untuk memastikan siswa dapat mengakses sekolah berdasarkan kedekatan geografis. Namun, pada implementasi di lapangan masih menemui berbagai masalah, terutama ketidaksesuaian antara jangkauan zona layanan dan kondisi nyata siswa di sekitar sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan: (1) zona layanan zonasi berdasarkan hasil Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru SMP Negeri tahun ajaran 2024/2025 di Kota Bandar Lampung, (2) mengidentifikasi zona kosong dan tumpang tindih pada peta zona layanan zonasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui survei lapangan dan dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan secara spasial menggunakan metode buffer untuk melihat distribusi geografis cakupan sekolah. Data yang digunakan meliputi data populasi usia sekolah, pemukiman, kemiringan wilayah, dan jarak dari tempat tinggal siswa ke sekolah tujuan berdasarkan hasil Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru sistem zonasi di SMP Negeri tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Hasil analisis menunjukkan, area terlayani zonasi sebesar 181,12 km2 dengan persentase 98,55%. Namun, masih ditemukannya kasus blankspot sebesar 2,65 km2 dengan persentase 1,45% dan ditemukan juga kasus overlap yang membentang cukup luas sebesar 155,13 km2 dengan persentase 84,42% menyisakan area non-overlap sebesar 28,64 km2 dengan persentase 15,58%. Hal ini terjadi karena zona cakupan terlalu luas, lokasi sekolah yang berdekatan dan tidak menjangkau keseluruhan wilayah, serta keterbatasan kuota sistem zonasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru di SMP Negeri. However, implementation in the field still encounters various problems, particularly the mismatch between the service zone coverage and the actual conditions of students living around the school. This study aims to determine: (1) the zoning service zones based on the results of New Student Admissions for Public Junior High Schools for the 2024/2025 academic year in Bandar Lampung City, and (2) identify empty and overlapping zones on the zoning service zone map for New Student Admissions for the 2024/2025 academic year. The research method used was descriptive quantitative, with data collected through field surveys and documentation. The analysis results show that the zoning service area is 181.12 km2 with a percentage of 98.55%. However, blank spot cases were still found at 2.65 km2 with a percentage of 1.45% and overlap cases were also found that stretched quite widely at 155.13 km2 with a percentage of 84.42% leaving a non-overlap area of 28.64 km2 with a percentage of 15.58%. This occurs because the coverage zone is too broad, the location of the schools is close together and does not cover the entire area, and the limited quota for the zoning system for New Student Admissions at Public Junior High Schools.
