Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang bentuk penyajian Tari Jurai dalam berbagai konteks pertunjukan. Tari Jurai telah dipentaskan dalam tiga bentuk yang berbeda, yaitu dalam bentuk audio visual serta dua pertunjukan langsung dengan konsep penyajian yang bervariasi. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumentasi untuk memahami secara mendalam karakteristik dari setiap bentuk penyajian. Menggunakan teori Sumandiyo Hadi Kajian Teks Dan Konteks. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Tari Jurai telah ditampilkan dalam tiga bentuk penyajian berbeda, yaitu dalam format audio visual, pertunjukan di panggung proscenium, dan pertunjukan non-proscenium. Ketiga bentuk penyajian tersebut memiliki keterkaitan erat dengan kegiatan pendidikan, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran ekstrakurikuler yang kemudian berkembang menjadi ajang kompetisi siswa dan media penyambutan tamu dalam kegiatan resmi. Faktor utama yang memengaruhi bentuk penyajian Tari Jurai adalah ruang pertunjukan serta konteks penyajiannya.Variasi dalam setiap medium pertunjukan dua pertunjukan langsung berdasarkan sensibilitas koreografer untuk menentukan bentuk penyajian Tari Jurai. Kata Kunci: Tari Jurai, Bentuk Penyajian, Teks Dan Konteks This research aims to analyze the presentation form of Jurai Dance in various performance contexts. Jurai Dance has been performed in three different forms, namely in audio-visual form as well as two live performances with varied presentation concepts. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation analysis methods to deeply understand the characteristics of each presentation form. Using Sumandiyo Hadi’s theory of Text and Context Studies. The results showed that the form of presentation of Jurai Dance is based on the performance medium used, which can be like (audio visual and live performances). Other things that influence the form of presentation are the space and context of the show, the form of Presentation that is influenced in the form of dance movements, the number of dancers, artistic and costumes of dancers. In the form of audio visual provides freedom of visual exploration through shooting techniques, while live performances emphasize aspects of interaction for the audience. Variations in each performance medium of the two live performances are based on the choreographer’s sensibility to determine the form of presentation of Jurai Dance.
