Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi berpikir kritis siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo pada materi Sistem Ekskresi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas XI-1 dan XI-3 yang berjumlah 72 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, angket tanggapan siswa dan guru. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis dan data angket siswa dan guru seluruhnya dianalisis secara deskriptif dalam bentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo pada materi Sistem Ekskresi berada dalam kriteria sangat rendah dengan skor rata rata 59,56. Faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara lain: sumber belajar, guru, dan siswa; informasi yang disajikan pada sumber belajar belum sepenuhnya memadai untuk mendukung siswa dalam melakukan pengamatan dan mempertimbangkan hasil observasi secara optimal; guru tidak memberikan saran kepada siswa untuk mengkaji ulang informasi yang diperoleh, sehingga siswa kehilangan peluang untuk lebih mendalami dan memastikan keakuratan informasi yang mereka gunakan; kurangnya kemauan siswa dalam mengkaji ulang materi untuk memastikan keakuratan informasi. Kata kunci: kemampuan berpikir kritis, materi sistem ekskresi This study aims to analyze students critical thinking skills and determine the factors that influence critical thinking of students at SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo on the Excretory System material. This study uses a survey design. The sample in this study was class XI-1 and XI-3 totaling 72 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques were carried out by administering critical thinking skills tests, student and teacher response questionnaires. Critical thinking skills data and student and teacher questionnaire data were all analyzed descriptively in the form of percentages. The results of the study showed that the critical thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri 1 Sidomulyo on the Excretory System material were in the very low criteria with an average score of 59.56. Factors that influence the low critical thinking skills of students include: learning resources, teachers, and students; information presented in learning resources is not yet fully adequate to support students in making observations and considering observation results optimally; teachers do not provide suggestions to students to review the information obtained, so that students lose the opportunity to further explore and ensure the accuracy of the information they use; Lack of student desire to review the material to ensure the accuracy of the information.
