Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh good corporate governance yang diukur dengan proporsi komisaris independen, keragaman gender dewan direksi, dan komite keberlanjutan terhadap risiko ESG pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2023, dengan profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan sebagai variabel kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 79 perusahaan yang dinilai oleh Sustainalytics, diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang dianalisis menggunakan program Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) versi 27 dengan teknik pengujian data berdasarkan analisis statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linear berganda dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proporsi dewan komisaris independen dan keragaman gender dewan direksi berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap risiko ESG. Namun, keberadaan komite keberlanjutan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap risiko ESG perusahaan. Kata kunci : Tata Kelola Perusahaan, Risiko ESG, Komisaris Independen, Keragaman Gender Dewan Direksi, Komite Keberlanjutan This study aims to analyze the effect of good corporate governance as measured by the proportion of independent commissioners, gender diversity of the board of directors, and sustainability committee on ESG risk in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2023, with profitability and company size as control variables. This study uses a sample of 79 companies assessed by Sustainalytics, taken using purposive sampling technique. The data used is secondary data analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27 program with data testing techniques based on descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the proportion of independent commissioners and gender diversity of the board of directors have a negative and significant effect on ESG risk. However, the existence of a sustainability committee has no significant effect on the company's ESG risk.
