Abstract
Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Kedamaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari penerapan model Problem-Based Learning berbantuan media Pop- Up Book terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental design dengan desain non- equivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 69 peserta didik dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu 45 peserta didik dikelas IV A dan IV C, sampel ditentukan dengan teknik sampling purposive sampling. Teknik pengambilan data melalui instrument tes kemampuan berpikir kritis tervalidasi dan lembar observasi. Data dianalisis dengan uji regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran Problem-Based Learning berbantuan media Pop-Up Book terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: berpikir kritis, problem-based learning, pop-up book The problem in this study was the low critical thinking ability of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kedamaian. This study aimed to determine the effect of applying the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Pop-Up Books on students' critical thinking abilities. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study consisted of 69 students, and the sample used was 45 students in grades IV A and IV C, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques involved validated critical thinking ability tests and observation sheets. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression tests. The results of this study indicated that there was a significant effect of the application of the Problem-Based Learning model assisted by Pop-Up Books on the critical thinking abilities of elementary school students.
