Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai tambah produk shisha dan briket menggunakan metode Hayami, serta menentukan metode peramalan paling akurat untuk kebutuhan bahan baku tempurung kelapa, mengingat kelapa merupakan komoditas penting di Indonesia dengan potensi besar tempurung kelapa sebagai bahan baku briket dan shisha. Metode Hayami digunakan untuk analisis nilai tambah, dengan mempertimbangkan harga bahan baku, upah tenaga kerja, biaya input lain, dan output produk, sementara lima metode peramalan (regresi linier, moving average, weighted moving average, exponential smoothing, dan exponential smoothing with trend) dievaluasi untuk menentukan metode paling akurat berdasarkan nilai error terendah (Mean Absolute Deviation, Mean Squared Error, dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk shisha menghasilkan nilai tambah sebesar Rp2.700/kg dengan keuntungan Rp1.367/kg, sementara briket menghasilkan nilai tambah Rp1.273/kg dengan keuntungan Rp91/kg, mengindikasikan kontribusi ekonomi shisha yang lebih tinggi. Untuk peramalan bahan baku, metode exponential smoothing with trend dengan parameter α=0.6 dan β=0.6 terbukti paling akurat dengan nilai error terendah (MAD: 61, MSE: 5896.599, MAPE: 21%). Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan limbah tempurung kelapa menjadi produk bernilai tambah tinggi seperti shisha dan briket tidak hanya menawarkan peluang bisnis yang menguntungkan, tetapi juga mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan dan ekonomi lokal, sehingga pengembangan industri ini miliki prospek cerah di pasar domestik dan ekspor. This study aimed to analyze the value added of shisha and briquette products using the Hayami method, and to determine the most accurate forecasting method for coconut shell raw material requirements. Coconut was identified as a leading commodity in Indonesia, with its shell possessing high potential as a raw material for briquettes and shisha. The Hayami method was employed for value-added analysis, which considered raw material prices, labor wages, other input costs, and product output. For raw material forecasting, five methods were evaluated: linear regression, moving average, weighted moving average, exponential smoothing, and exponential smoothing with trend. The most accurate method was determined based on the lowest error values, specifically Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results indicated that shisha products yielded a value added of IDR 2,700/kg with a profit of IDR 1,367/kg. In contrast, briquettes showed a value added of IDR 1,273/kg with a profit of IDR 91/kg. This demonstrated that shisha contributed more significantly to the economy compared to briquettes. For raw material forecasting, the exponential smoothing with trend method, with parameters α=0.6 and β=0.6, proved to be the most accurate. It exhibited the lowest error values (MAD: 61, MSE: 5896.599, MAPE: 21%). In conclusion, the study found that transforming coconut shell waste into high value-added products like shisha and briquettes not only presented lucrative business opportunities but also fostered environmental sustainability and strengthened the local economy. Therefore, the development of coconut shell-based briquette and shisha industries held promising prospects in both domestic and export markets.
