Abstract
Seiring dengan pesatnya perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan, berbagai inovasi baru terus bermunculan, khususnya pada bidang konstruksi dinding bangunan. Salah satu inovasi tersebut adalah munculnya material konstruksi baru berupa bata ringan. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan proses pembuatan bata ringan cellular lightweight concrete (CLC) dengan penambahan serabut kelapa sebagai campuran. Dalam proses pembuatannya, bata ringan CLC menggunakan beberapa alat, antara lain foam generator, kompresor, mesin pengaduk, ember, golok, cetakan bata ringan, dan timbangan. Bahan yang digunakan meliputi semen, air, serabut kelapa, bahan pengeras bata ringan, serta agregat halus atau pasir. Hasil pembuatan bata ringan CLC dengan campuran serabut kelapa ini melalui proses curing dan menghasilkan bata dengan bobot yang lebih ringan dibandingkan bata konvensional. Kata kunci : Bata ringan clc, serabut kelapa, curring. Along with the rapid development of science and technology, various new innovations continue to emerge, particularly in the field of building wall construction. One of these innovations is the development of new construction materials in the form of lightweight bricks. This final project aims to explain the manufacturing process of Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) lightweight bricks with the addition of coconut fiber as a mixture. In the manufacturing process, several tools are used, including a foam generator, compressor, mixing machine, bucket, machete, brick mold, and weighing scale. The materials used consist of cement, water, coconut fiber, lightweight brick hardener, and fine aggregate or sand. The production results of CLC lightweight bricks with coconut fiber mixture undergo a curing process and produce bricks with a lighter weight compared to conventional bricks.
