Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi kepribadian guru terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian ex-post facto. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V yang berjumlah 44 peserta didik. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu sampling jenuh, yang berarti peneliti menggunakan seluruh jumlah populasi menjadi sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik non tes berupa angket. Uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa H 1 diterima dan H 0 ditolak, dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh dari kompetensi kepribadian guru terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelititian dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif kompetensi kepribadian guru terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik. Kata Kunci: kompetensi kepribadian guru, motivasi belajar peserta didik, proses belajar mengajar The problem addressed in this study is the low learning motivation of elementary school students. This study aims to determine the effect of teachers’ personality competence on students’ learning motivation in elementary schools. The research employed a quantitative approach with an ex-post facto research design. The population of this study consisted of all fifth-grade students, totaling 44 students. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, meaning that the entire population was taken as the research sample. Data were collected using a non-test technique in the form of a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing in this study was conducted using simple linear regression analysis. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that H 1 is accepted and H 0 is rejected. It can be concluded that there is an effect of teachers’ personality competence on students’ learning motivation in elementary schools. Based on the research findings, it is evident that teachers’ personality competence has a positive effect on students’ learning motivation.
