Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan pada kemerosotan moral peserta didik kelas III SD IT Baitul Muslim, yang berdampak pada perilaku dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila. Peserta didik cenderung terlihat pada perilaku yang tidak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai karakter yang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan karakter peserta didik kelas III sekolah dasar dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila melalui peran pendidik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ex post facto dengan desain sampel purposive sampling. Populasi dalam studi berjumlah 10 pendidik dan 95 peserta didik, dengan sampel yang terlibat sebanyak 10 pendidk, sedangkan peserta didik 40. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, dan dokumentasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus uji regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan hasil signifikansi 0,044 (< 0,05), sehingga hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari peran pendidik dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik pada mata pelajaran pendidikan pancasila kelas III di SD IT Baitul Muslim. Kata kunci: karakter peserta didik, pendidikan pancasila, peran pendidik. This study was motivated by the moral decline of third-grade students at SD IT Baitul Muslim, which affected their daily behavior, particularly in Pancasila Education learning. Students still demonstrated behaviors that were not fully aligned with good character values. This study aimed to determine the influence of educators' roles in shaping the character of third-grade students in the subject Pancasila Education. The research employed a quantitative method with an ex post facto design. The population consisted of 10 educators and 95 students, while the sample included 10 educators and 40 students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results of hypothesis testing showed a significance value of 0.044 < 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) was accepted. Therefore, it was concluded that the educators' roles had a significant influence on the character formation of third-grade students in the Pancasila Education subject at SD IT Baitul Muslim.
