Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (mendeskripsikan penerapan metode drill) pada pembelajaran Gamelan Jawa di Sanggar Adi Langen Budaya, Bangun Rejo, Lampung Tengah. Metode drill dalam penelitian ini diterapkan sebagai bentuk latihan yang dilakukan secara berulang, terstruktur, dan bertahap untuk membentuk keterampilan bermain Gamelan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan (kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi). Sumber data melibatkan Ketua Sanggar, guru Karawitan, Pengrawit, serta satu orang murid aktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan (metode drill dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan, meliputi persiapan, pemberian contoh tabuhan oleh pengajar, serta latihan berulang secara sistematis dari tempo lambat menuju tempo cepat yang disertai dengan koreksi langsung selama proses latihan berlangsung). Evaluasi dilaksanakan pada setiap sesi latihan untuk menilai ketepatan teknik tabuhan, ritme, tempo, dan kekompakan antarinstrumen. Penerapan metode drill terbukti mampu meningkatkan penguasaan teknik tabuhan, konsistensi tempo, koordinasi antarinstrumen, serta kedisiplinan murid dalam mengikuti pembelajaran gamelan, sehingga metode ini dinilai efektif dalam pembelajaran Gamelan dilingkungan sanggar. Kata Kunci: Metode Drill, Gamelan Jawa, Pembelajaran Karawitan, Sanggar Adi Langen Budaya. This study aims (to describe the application of the drill method) in Javanese Gamelan learning at the Adi Langen Budaya Studio, Bangun Rejo, Central Lampung. The drill method in this study is applied as a form of practice that is carried out repeatedly, structured, and gradually to develop gamelan playing skills. (The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation). Data sources involved the Head of the Studio, gamelan teachers, musicians, and one active student. The results show that the application of (the drill method is carried out through several stages, including preparation, providing examples of percussion by the teacher, and systematic repeated practice from slow to fast tempos accompanied by direct corrections during the practice process). Evaluation is carried out at each practice session to assess the accuracy of percussion techniques, rhythm, tempo, and cohesiveness between instruments. The application of the drill method has been proven to be able to improve mastery of percussion techniques, tempo consistency, coordination between instruments, and student discipline in participating in gamelan learning, so this method is considered effective in Gamelan learning in the studio environment.
