Abstract
Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan penambahan level dedak padi terbaik terhadap kandungan lemak kasar dan protein kasar silase rumput odot. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Oktober 2025 ̶ November 2025 di Jurusan Peternakan dan Laboratorium Nutrisi dan Makanan Ternak, Jurusan Peternakan, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 3 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan pada penelitian ini yaitu P1: rumput odot + dedak padi 5%, P2: rumput odot + dedak padi 10%, P3: rumput odot + dedak padi 15%. Peubah yang diamati yaitu meliputi lemak kasar dan protein kasar. Data yang diperoleh kemudian akan dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Ragam (Anova) dan dilanjutkan dengan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan dedak padi dengan level berbeda berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01), terhadap kandungan lemak kasar dan protein kasar silase rumput odot. Hasil terbaik menurut uji DMRT yaitu pada P1 terhadap kandungan lemak kasar dan protein kasar. Kata Kunci: Dedak padi, Lemak kasar, Protein kasar, Silase rumput odot This study aims to determined the effect and the best addition level of rice bran on the extract ethrt and crude protein of odot grass silage. This research was conducted in October 2025 ̶ November 2025 at the Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Nutrition and Feed Laboratory, Department of Animal Husbandry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments given in this study were P1: odot grass + 5% rice bran, P2: odot grass + 10% rice bran, P3: odot grass + 15% rice bran. The variables observed were extract ether and crude protein. The data obtained were then analyzed using Analysis of Variance (Anova) and continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results showed that the addition of rice bran with different levels had a very significant effect (P <0.01), on the extract ether and crude protein of odot grass silage. The best results according to the DMRT test were in P1 for extract ether and crude protein. Keywords : Crude protein, Extract ether, Odot grass silage, Rice bran.
