Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi dan regresi non linier ukuranukuran tubuh bobot tubuh (BT), lingkar dada (LD), panjang badan (PB), dan volume tubuh (VT) terhadap bobot tubuh sapi Simpo di KPT Maju Sejahtera Kecamatan Tanjung Sari Kabupaten Lampung Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada September 2023, menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling dengan kriteria berusia 2,5 sampai 4,5 tahun, tidak agresif dan tidak sedang bunting pada sapi betina. Data yang dihimpun meliputi LD dan PB sapi Simpo untuk menentukan VT. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah LD, PB, dan VT yang dihitung dari LD dan PB. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi R untuk mengetahui nilai korelasi dan regresi non linier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa koefisien korelasi (r) PB, LD, dan VT terhadap BT sapi Simpo berturutturut yaitu 0,83, 0,92, dan 0,90. Selanjutnya hasil analisis regresi non linear didapatkan bahwa regresi non linier PB, LD, dan VT terhadap BT, berturut-turut yaitu BT = 10,86180 + 2,10792 PB + 0,00316 PB2 dengan R2 = 0,69, BT = 1650,07665 – 23,27132 LD + 0,09291 LD2 dengan R2 = 0,91, dan BT = 114,2 + 0,06183 VT + 0,00004199 VT2 dengan R2 = 0,83. Kata Kunci: Sapi Simpo, Korelasi, Regresi non linier, Ukuran tubuh, Volume tubuh. This study aims to determine the correlation and non–linear regression of body measurements sizes chest circumference (CC), and body length (BL) and body volume (BV) on the body weight (BW) of Simpo cattle in KPT Maju Sejahtera, Tanjung Sari District, South Lampung Regency. This research was carried out in September 2023, using the Purposive Sampling method with the criteria of cattle being 2,5 to 4,5 years old, not aggressive and not pregnant in cows. The data collected includes CC and BL of Simpo cattle to determine body volume. The independent variabels in this study were CC, BL and BV which were calculated from CC and BL. Data analysis used R application to determine correlation and non–linear regression equation. The results of the research showed that the correlation coefficient (r) of BL, CC and BV on the BW of Simpo cattle were 0.83, 0.92 and 0.90, respectively. Furthermore, the results of the non–linear regression analysis showed that the non–linear regression of equation BL, CC and BV on BW, were BW = 10,86180 + 2,10792 BL + 0,00316 BL2 with R2 = 0,69 , BW = 1650,07665 – 23,27132 CC + 0,09291 CC2 with R2 = 0,91, and BW = 114,2 + 0,06183 BV + 0,00004199 BV2 with R2 = 0,83.
