Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran untuk perkembangan bahasa, (2) peningkatan perkembangan bahasa, dan aktivitas guru dan anak dalam proses pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan media gambar untuk peningkatan perkembangan bahasa melalui media gambar pada anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan, dilakukan di RA Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung, dengan menggunakan media gambar tunggal, yang terdiri dari tiga siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Siklus pertama menggunakan media gambar macam macam pekerjaan, siklus kedua menggunakan gambar polisi, dan siklus ketiga menggunakan gambar petani. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi serta dianalisis dengan deskriptif kuantitatif. Temuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) perencanaan pembelajaran untuk perkembangan bahasa anak melalui pemanfaatan media gambar disesuaikan dengan pendekatan tematik, (2) pemanfaatan media gambar dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa anak di RA Al Hikmah Bandar Lampung, dan (3) aktivitas guru (pra pembelajaran, kegiatan inti pembelajaran, dan penutup) dan aktivitas pada anak (visual, lisan,mendengarkan,menulis, emosi, menggambar) dalam proses pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan media gambar dapat meningkatkan perkembangan bahasa pada anak. Kata kunci: media gambar, pemanfaatan, perkembangan bahasa The purpose of research is to describe: (1) planning for the development of language learning, (2) An increase in language development, and the activity of the teachers and the child in the learning process through the use of picture to increase language development through picture. This study uses Action Research, conducted in Al Hikmah Kindergarten Bandar Lampung, using the single picture, which consist of three cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. The first cycle using pictures kinds of jobs, the second cycle using the picture of police, and the third cycle using the pictures of farmers. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation as well as analyzed by quantitative descriptive. The research findings are: (1) planning for the development of a child's language learning through the use of picture adjusted with a thematic approach, (2) use of picture can improve children’s language development in the Al Hikmah Kinder garten Bandar Lampung, and (3) the activities of teacher (pre-study, core activities of learning, and the cover) and activity of children (visual, verbal, listening, writing, emotion, drawing) in the learning process through the use of picture can improve language development of children.
