Abstract
ABSTRAK Anxietas atau cemas merupakan perasaan takut yang tidak jelas karena sifat subjektif. Indonesia menempati urutan terbesar keempat dunia dengan prevalensi merokok yakni pria 63,1% dan wanita 4,5%. Faktor yang menyebabkan seseorang anak merokok yaitu kelompok teman sebaya dan religiusitas. Efek dari merokok hanya meredakan kecemasan selama efek dari nikotin masih ada dan ketergantungan nikotin dapat menyebabkan seseorang menjadi lebih stres. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptik analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional design dan jumlah sampel sebanyak 200 orang serta dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober hingga November 2014. Responden diminta untuk mengisi lembar informed consent dan lembar kuisioner sebagai data penelitian. Hasil penelitian kemudian dianalisis menggunakan program komputer dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 200 responden, tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat kecemasan dengan perilaku merokok pada siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri dan Swasta di Bandar Lampung dengan p-value sebesar 0,168 dimana p-value ≤α (0,05). Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat kecemasan dengan perilaku merokok pada siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri dan Swasta di Bandar Lampung. Kata kunci: lampung, merokok, SMA, tingkat kecemasan. ABSTRACT Anxiety is a fear that isn’t clear because of the subjective assessment. Indonesia’s ranks fourth largest with smoking prevalence 63,1% of male and 4,5% of female. Factors that cause a child smoking that is a group of peers and religiosity. Effects of smoking only relieve anxiety over the effects of nicotine are still there and nicotine dependence can cause a person to become more stressful. This study uses descriptive analytic research with cross sectional design and total sample of 200 people and conducted in October until November 2014. Respondents were asked to fill out a sheet of informed consent and questionnaire as research data. Results were analyzed using the computer program and analyzed using Chi-Square. The results showed that of the 200 respondents, there was no significant relationship between the level of anxiety and smoking behavior in class XII students of public and privat senior high school in Bandar Lampung with p-value of 0,168 which p-value ≤ α (0.05). In this study, it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between the level of anxiety and smoking behavior in class XII students of public and privat senior high school in Bandar Lampung.
