Abstract
ABSTRAK Representasi merupakan penggambaran mengenai sesuatu hal yang digambarkan melalui suatu media. Pentingnya representasi bagi kehidupan kita adalah untuk mengetahui perbadingan suatu hal dengan hal lainnya dalam kehidupan kita. Karena representasi bergantung pada latar belakang individu yang melakukan representasi. Representasi pelaku korupsi sering diidentikkan pada sosok-sosok tertentu, seperti para pejabat ataupun pengusaha. Padahal, tindakan korupsi dapat dilakukan oleh siapa saja. Maka, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi pelaku korupsi di Indonesia pada film “Kita Versus Korupsi”. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan 11 scenes yang mewakili tindakan korupsi di Indonesia. Dari hasil analisis dengan menggunakan metode semiotika model Roland Barthes, peneliti menemukan bahwa film Kita Versus Korupsi memberikan gambaran yang berbeda terhadap pelaku korupsi. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pelaku korupsi tidak dapat diidentikkan pada ciri fisik ataupun sifat tertentu. Penggambaran pelaku korupsi yang identik dengan pejabat hanyalah kontruksi pemberitaan yang dilakukan oleh media massa. Kata kunci : Representasi, Semiotika Roland Barthes, Pelaku Korupsi ABSTRACT Representation is description about something through a media. The advantage of representation to our existence to compare something and others. Representation of corruptor is often identified to some characters, such as a goverment or bussinessman. Meanwhile, corruption can be done by everyone. so, the purpose of this study is knowing how the representation of corruptors in Indonesia on film “Kita Versus Korupsi”. in this study, researcher found 11 scenes which represent the corruption. Based on the result of using semiotika of Roland Barthes method, researcher found that film “Kita Versus korupsi” gives a different perspective of corruptors. It shows that corruptor can be identified by the physical condition or some characters. Representaion of corruptor as a goverment is just news construction by mass media.
