Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

ABSTRAK INDONESIA Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran bernama media ‘Picture in The Box’ dan untuk menganalisis efektifas penggunaa media Picture in The Box dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D). Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 1 Kotabumi yang terdiri dari delapan kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling, pada dua kelas yaitu kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Picture in The Box dan kelas VII F sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media bukan Picture in The Box (Peta, Atlas, Globe, Papan Tulis, Batuan, dan LCD). Analisis data menggunakan uji t, yaitu jika t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel maka media Picture in The Box dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar pada pembelajaran IPS. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) media "Picture in The Box" yang telah dinilai oleh para ahli dan peserta didik dengan desain pengembangan media menggunakan desain Dick and Carey, dinyatakan layak digunakan; (2) penggunaan media "Picture in The Box" efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai koefisien t-hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel, sehingga pembelajaran menggunakan media "Picture in The Box" dinyatakan efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar. Kata kunci: media Picture in The Box, pembelajaran IPS, hasil belajar ABSTRAK INGGRIS This research aims to produce instructional media named "Picture in The Box" and to analyze the effectiveness of the use of media in the Picture Box in improving learning outcomes. The research method using the "Research and Davelopment" (R & D). Population taken from students of class VII SMPN 1 Kotabumi consisting of eight classes. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, the two classes of class VII A as a class experiment that uses media "Picture in The Box", and class VII F as the control class that uses the media "instead of Picture in The Box" (Map, Atlas, Globe, Whiteboard, Rock, and LCD). Data analysis using t-test, if t count larger than t-table, then the media "Picture in The Box" was declared effective in improving learning outcomes in social studies learning. Results of the study are (1) the media "Picture in The Box" which has been assessed by experts and learners with the design of media development using design Dick and Carey, declared fit for use; (2) use of media "Picture in The Box" is effective in improving learning outcomes. The average learning outcomes experimental class is higher than the average of the control class learning outcomes. The analysis results obtained coefficient t-count is greater than t-table, so learning to use the media "Picture in The Box" was declared effective in improving learning outcomes.
