Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana media catatan Move-ON dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA PGRI 1 Talang Padang yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan tiga siklus yang terdapat perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Tekhnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan maka hasilnya sebagai berikut: Media catatan Move- ON yang didalamnya terdapat catatan impian yang ingin diraih, inspirasi, motivasi religi, juga upaya membangun kebiasaan baik dengan perjanjian perubahan perilaku dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa. Melalui media catatan Move-ON dalam pembelajaran PKn penanaman karakter baik juga dapat diperoleh melalui Habits atau kebiasaan, yaitu dengan mengarahkan, memotivasi dan mendampingi siswa menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik. Dari siklus I karakter siswa belum mencapai indikator. Hingga pada siklus ke-II dan ke-III terjadi peningkatan karakter secara signifikan hingga mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang diharapkan yaitu ≥ 75% dari 29 siswa. Melalui media catatan Move-ON nilai karakter dominan dan mulai membudaya yaitu pada karakter religius sebesar 79%, disiplin sebesar 76%, toleransi sebesar 83%, kerja keras sebesar 76% dan tanggung jawab sebesar 76%. Untuk karakter kejujuran masih belum tercapai yaitu sebesar 62% namun dalam setiap siklus sudah nampak perbaikannya. Kata kunci: Nilai Karakter, Pembelajaran PKn, Media Catatan Move-ON. ABSTRACT The objectives of this research were to analyze and to describe how Move-ON media notes could increase students’ characters. The subjects of this research were the eleventh grade students of SMA PGRI 1 Talang Padang consisted of 29 students. The methodology used in this research was Classroom Action Research with three cycles, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this research were interview, observation, and documentation. Based on the result of the research, it could be informed as follows: Move-ON media notes which contained expectation, inspiration, religious motivation, and also an effort to develop habits by keeping the promise to change behavior that could increase students’ characters. By using Move-ON media notes in the process of teaching and learning PKn, the names of good characters could be obtained from habits, i.e. by giving guidance, motivation as well as by accompanying the students to change themselves to be better. From the result of Cycle I, it showed that the students’ character could not reach the indicator. Meanwhile, from Cycle II up to Cycle III, it showed that there were significant increase of the students’ characters which reached the indicator of expected achievement, i.e. ≥ 75% from 29 students. Through Move-ON media notes, the students’ characters which were more dominant and being entrenched could be seen from the percentage as follows: religious character was 79%, discipline was 76%, tolleran was 83%, hard work was 76% and responsibility was 76%. For the character of honesty, it was only 62%. It meant that it could not reach the indicator of achievement, however, there was progress on each cycle.
