Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
Masalah dan Tujuan Penelitian: Peer assisted learning (PAL) merupakan metode pembelajaran yang berpusat pada mahasiswa yang melibatkan diskusi antara instruktur sebagai pengajar dan peserta sebagai yang diajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa tentang PAL pada keterampilan klinik (clinical skills) di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Lampung. Metode : Penelitian dilakukan terhadap empat responden untuk wawancara yang berasal dari mahasiswa angkatan 2013 dan empat kelompok peserta yang pernah mengikuti PAL keterampilan klinik yang berasal dari angkatan 2015 untuk dilakukan Focuss Group Discussion (FGD). Dilakukan empat pertanyaan mendasar tentang kegiatan PAL dan beberapa pertanyaan untuk menggali lebih dalam informasi yang telah disampaikan oleh responden. Hasil dan Kesimpulan : Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa mahasiswa menganggap bahwa kegiatan PAL keterampilan klinik merupakan kegiatan yang baik dan bermanfaat serta perlu untuk dilanjutkan. PAL memiliki beberapa manfaat berdasarkan pernyataan-pernyataan yang telah disampaikan oleh instruktur dan peserta diantaranya yaitu memiliki manfaat dalam meningkatkan keterampilan klinik, aspek pengtahuan, keberanian bertanya, dan interaksi sosial. beberapa kelemahan dalam kegiatan yang diadakan dalam Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Lampung ini adalah dalam penjadwalan waktu latihan dan administrasi peralatan sebagai penunjang keberlangsungan PAL keterampilan klinik. Responden berharap hal-hal yang menjadi kelemahan yang pada saat ini agar mendapatkan perbaikan kedepannya. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan klinik, Mahasiswa, Peer-assisted learning. Issues and Research purposes : Peer assisted learning (PAL) is a method of student-centered learning that involves a discussion between the instructor as a teacher and participant as be taught by. This study was conducted to determine students' perceptions of PAL in clinical skills at the Medical Faculty, University of Lampung. Methods : This research was done on four respondents from 2013 class for interview and four groups of participants from 2015 class who had joined PAL clinical skills to be held a Focuss Group Discussion (FGD). In the interviews and discussions was conducted four fundamental questions about the activities of PAL and some questions to dig deeperly into the information that has been submitted by the respondents. Results and Conclusions : The result showed that the student considers that the activities of PAL clinical skills are good and beneficial activities as well as the need to continue. PAL has several benefits based on the statements that have been submitted by the instructor and the participants among which have benefits in improving clinical skills, aspects of knowledge, a courage to ask, and social interaction. Some weaknesses in the activities held in the Medical Faculty, University of Lampung are scheduling practice time and administration equipment as support the continuity of PAL in clinical skills lab. Respondents expect the weakness in this current time can be improved well in the future. Keywords : Clinical skills, Peer-assisted learning, Students.
