Abstrak
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu yaitu metode yang membandingkan hasil belajar dengan pemberian perlakuan pada suatu objek. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan XI IPS 3 sebanyak 64 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dan effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar pada kelas yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran kontekstual dengan kelas yang diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran konvensional, dimana kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi rata-rata hasil belajarnya dari kelas kontrol. Ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi. Kata Kunci: model pembelajaran kontekstual, hasil belajar geografi. ABSTRAK BAHASA INGGRIS This research is aimed to find out the difference and the effect of contextual teaching and learning model on learning result in geography subject at XI IPS SMA Negeri 6 Bandar Lampung school year 2014/2015. This research used quasi experiment method which was the method that compare learning result with a treatment to the object. The subject of this result was students of second grade of social class 1 and social class 3 which consist of 64 students. Data collecting technique of this research are test and data analysis which was used t-test and effect size. The result of this research shows that there is the significant difference of learning result in the class which was given by the conventional model of teaching learning, where the experiment class is higher than control class. There is an effect of contextual teaching and learning model on learning result in geography subject. Keywords : contextual teaching and learning model, learning result of geography subject
