Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

This research aimed to know: (1) the average difference of students social skills whose learning used TPS learning model, NHT learning model, and conventional learning model. (2) the average of students social skills whose learning used TPS learning model were better than those who used NHT learning model, (3) the average of students social skills whose learning used TPS learning model were better than those who used conventional learning model. (4) the average of students social skills whose learning used NHT learning model were better than those who used conventional learning model. The research method used Quasi-experimental method. The population of the research were all students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 3 kalianda. The sampling technique used probability sampling by using cluster random sampling technique. The data collecting technique used observation and questioner. The analysis data technique used the social skills sub indicator average and one way ANOVA. The research result showed that: (1) There were differences of students social skills average among students whose learning used TPS learning model, NHT learning model, and conventional learning model, (2) the average of students social skills whose learning used TPS were better than those whose learning used NHT learning model, (3) the average of students social skills whose learning used TPS learning model were better than those whose learning used conventional learning model. (4) the average of students social skills whose learning used NHT learning model were better than those whose learning model used conventional learning model. Key words: social skills, numbered head together, conventional learning, think pair square Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) perbedaan rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS, model pembelajaran NHT, dan model pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT. (3) Rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. (4) Ratarata keterampilan sosial siswa antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Metode penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen. Populasi penelitan adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Kalianda. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan rubrik observasi dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rata-rata sub indikator keterampilan sosial dan One Way ANOVA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS, model pembelajaran NHT, dan model pembelajaran konvensional. (2) Rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT. (3) Rata-rata keterampilan sosial siswa antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran TPS lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. (4) Ratarata keterampilan sosial siswa antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.
