Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris tentang pengaruh faktor nilai intrinsik pekerjaan, faktor penghargaan finansial/gaji, faktor pertimbangan pasar kerja, dan faktor pengaruh orang tua terhadap turunnya minat mahasiswa akuntansi untuk berkarir sebagai akuntan publik. Penelitian ini merupakan studi empiris pada Universitas Negeri dan Swasta di Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang didapat melalui hasil pengisian kuesioner. Data terkumpul sebanyak 320 kuesioner yang kembali. Pengolahan data menggunakan alat bantu SPSS versi 21. Analisis statistik yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda, uji F, dan uji t. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa faktor pengaruh orang tua berpengaruh positif signifikan sedangkan faktor intrinsik, finansial/gaji dan pertimbangan pasar kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap turunnya minat mahasiswa akuntansi untuk berkarir sebagai akuntan publik. Kata kunci: Faktor nilai intrinsik pekerjaan, faktor penghargaan finansial/gaji, faktor pertimbangan pasar kerja, faktor orang tua, minat mahasiswa akuntansi, dan akuntan publik. The purpose of this research is to get empirical evidence about the influence of the intrinsic value of work, financial rewards factor, flexibility of career options factor, and the factor of parental influence on the decrease to accounting student interest to choose career as a public accountant. This research is an empirical study on the State University and Private Universities in Bandar Lampung. The research used random sampling. This research used primary data that obtained from questionnaire results. Number of questionnaires that collected are 320 questionnaires. This research is examined by multiple linier regression analysis, F test, and t test by using SPSS. Statistical test showed that parental influence factor positive significantly affect the decrease to interest of accounting student to choose career as a public accountant whereas intrinsic factors, financial, and flexibility of career options do not have affect the decrease of accounting student to choose career as a public accountant.
