Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV Sulaiman SD Muhammadiyah Metro Pusat yang diketahui dari hasil observasi. Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa melalui model project based learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes. Data aktivitas belajar siswa dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kualitatif, sedangkan data hasil belajar siswa dianalisis dengan teknik analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model project based learning dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 56,1 dengan predikat C meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 69,29 dengan predikat B-, dan meningkat lagi pada siklus III menjadi 84,46 dengan predikat A-. Nilai rata-rata pada aspek afektif siklus I sebesar 54,28 dengan predikat C- meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 60,71 dengan predikat C, dan meningkat lagi pada siklus III menjadi 82,62 dengan predikat A-. Nilai rata-rata pada aspek kognitif siklus I sebesar 59,42 dengan predikat C meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 62,66 dengan predikat C+, dan meningkat lagi pada siklus III menjadi 81,63 dengan predikat A. Nilai rata-rata pada aspek psikomotor siklus I sebesar 57,96 dengan predikat C, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 64,19 dengan predikat C+, dan meningkat lagi pada siklus III menjadi 82,14 dengan predikat A-. kata kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, project based learning The research was based by the low of activity and the learning result of student in IV Sulaiman class at SD Muhammadiyah Metro Pusat was known by observation. The aims of this research were to increase the activity and the learning result of the students through the implementation of project based learning model. The kind of this research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research have done for three cycles. Every cycles consist of four step (planning, acting, observing, and reflecting). The instrument of data collection used observation sheet and test. The technique of data analyze used qualitative and quantitative technique. The result of the research showed that the implementation of project based learning model can increase the activity and the learning result of the students. This case can be seen from the average score of the students’ activity in first cycle was 56,1 (C), the second cycle was 69,29 (B-), and the third cycle was 84,46 (A-). Average of affective study result in first cycle was 54,28 (C-), the second cycle was 60,71 (C), and the third cycle was 82,62 (A). Average of cognitive study result in first cycle was 59,42 (C), the second cycle was 62,66 (C+), and the third cycle was 81,63 (A).
