B.INGGRIS A band is a group of people with a certain music style and a dream to produce works by establishing a music group. Music band can be categorized into two types; the major and indie labels. The objective of this research was to find out the role of interpersonal communication in creating harmonious relationships by a band manager to personnel of Brother Oi ! music band in Bandar Lampung. This was a qualitative research. Information source was collected from purposive sampling technique where informants were selected based on understanding and knowledge on clear and factual descriptions and explanations about roles of interpersonal communication in creating harmonious relationships of the band manager to the band personnel. In this research researcher uses interview, literature review and documentation in collecting the data. The role of interpersonal communication manager implements a system of family to creating harmonious among the respective personnel with openness, empathy, support, positive and common sense communication is established from the personnel manager and members are expected to establish a good child self- disclosure from the perspective of the child's self concept include preventive (beginning) and corrective (rectification) individuality and Consistent (fixed) teenagers. The results showed that there was an aspect of harmonious relationships in the Brother Oi! Band. This could be proven by interpersonal communication that influenced the teamwork and there were elements of openness, empathy, support, positive attitude, and equality in the interpersonal communication in the Brother Oi! Band. Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Band, Harmonious B.INDONESIA Band adalah sekelompok perkumpulan orang-orang yang memiliki satu aliran musik dan mempunyai satu cita-cita untuk berkarya dengan membentuk kelompok musik. Band terdiri dari dua jenis yaitu major label dan indie. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan komunikasi antar pribadi dalam membangun hubungan yang harmonis pada manajer band terhadap personil Brother Oi! di Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian kualitatif. Sumber informasi diambil secara purposive sampling, dimana Informan dipilih berdasarkan pada pemahaman dan pengetahuan mengenai gambaran dan keterangan-keterangan secara jelas dan faktual tentang peranan komunikasi antar pribadi dalam membangun hubungan yang harmonis manajer band terhadap personil. Dalam penelitian ini teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah, wawancara, kepustakaan, observasi dan dokumentasi. Peranan komunikasi antarpribadi seorang manager menerapkan sistem kekeluargaan untuk menciptakan keharmonisan antar masing-masing personil dengan keterbukaan, empati, dukungan, rasa positif dan kesamaan komunikasi yang terjalin dari manager dan anggota personil diharapkan dapat membentuk pengungkapan diri anak yang baik dilihat dari sudut konsep diri anak yang meliputi preventif (permulaan) dan korektif (pembetulan) individualitas dan Konsisten (tetap) anak remaja. Berdasarkan pada tujuan penelitian maka penulis mengambil kesimpulan bahwa hasil penelitian yang lakukan menunjukkan terdapat aspek hubungan yang harmonis dalam Band Brother Oi! hal ini dibuktikan dengan komunikasi antarpribadi yang terjalin berpengaruh terhadap teamwork sehingga terdapat unsur keterbukaan, empati, dukungan, kepositifan, dan kesetaraan dalam band Brother Oi!. Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Antarpribadi, Band, Harmonis
