Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Jigsaw dengan metode Inkuiri ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, dengan desain non equivalence pretest-posttest group design. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penilitian ini adalah tes, yaitu tes di awal dan di akhir pembelajaran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMPN 12 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII B yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw dengan metode Inkuiri tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir krtitis siswa. Kata Kunci : kemampuan berpikir kritis, model pembelajaran jigsaw, metode inkuiri (This experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of implementation of Jigsaw learning model with Inquiry method viewed by students’ critical thinking ability with non equivalence pretest-posttest group design. Gathering technic of data in this research used test, was before and after learning. The population of this research was that all of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 12 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2012/2013. The research’s samples were the students of VIII A and VIII B class which chosen by simple random sampling technique. Based on the results and discussions, the researcher concluded that the implementation of Jigsaw learning model with Inquiry method was ineffective viewed by student’s critical thinking ability.
