Abstrak

INTISARI Masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran tari Muli Siger menggunakan metode demonstrasi dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri 14 B. Lampung. Dengan demikian tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran tari Muli Siger menggunakan metode demonstrasi dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri 14 B. Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah I Wayan Mustika sebagai pencipta tari Muli Siger, Ahmad Khosim yang memiliki gelar Sutan Puan Marga Wesma, ia adalah anggota MPAL Kab. Pesawaran, guru seni dan budaya di SMP Negeri 14 B. Lampung serta siswi-siswi yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler tari yang berjumlah 12 siswi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah pengamatan (observasi), dokumentasi, wawancara, serta tes praktik. Metode demonstrasi diterapkan pada pembelajaran tari Muli Siger dari pertemuan awal hingga pertemuan akhir. Metode demonstrasi merupakan metode yang tepat untuk pembelajaran tari Muli Siger. Hal ini terlihat pada siswi yang awalnya belum mempelajari tari Muli Siger, namun dengan metode demonstrasi siswi mampu menggerakkan tari Muli Siger dengan baik sesuai dengan yang diajarkan. Hasil pembelajaran tari Muli Siger menggunakan metode demonstrasi menunjukkan bahwa siswi rata-rata sudah mampu memeragakan tari Muli Siger dengan baik sesuai dengan yang telah diajarkan. Penilaian diberikan melalui 3(tiga) aspek yaitu Teknik Gerak, Ketetapan Gerak Terhadap Musik, dan Ekspresi. Penilaian dilakukan bersama dengan guru seni budaya yang kemudian nilai dibagi 2(dua). Secara keseluruhan nilai siswi sudah dapat dilihat pada tabel pengamatan evaluasi, dimana siswi yang mendapatkan kriteria baik sekali adalah 6 siswi (50%) , siswi yang mendapat kriteria baik berjumlah 5 siswi (41,5%), siswi yang mendapat kriteria cukup berjumlah 1 siswi (8,5%), siswi yang mendapat kriteria kurang berjumlah 0 siswi (0%), dan siswi yang mendapat kriteria gagal berjumlah 0 siswi (0%). Kata kunci: pembelajaran, metode demonstrasi, tari muli siger ABSTRACT The problem statement in this research is Muli Siger dance learning using demonstration method in extracurricular activity in State Junior High School 14 in Bandar Lampung. The objective of this research is to describe Muli Siger dance learning by using demonstration method in extracurricular activity in State Junior High School 14 in Bandar Lampung. This research used descriptive qualitative design. Data sources in this research were I Wayan Mustika as the Muli Siger dance composer, Ahmad Khosim of Sutan Puan Marga Wesma; a member of MPAL in Pesawaran regency, an art and culture teacher in State Junior High School 14 in Bandar Lampung, and 12 female students joining dancing extracurricular activity. Data were collected with observations, documentations, interviews, and practical tests. Demonstration method was applied in Muli Siger dance learning from the first meeting to the last meeting. The demonstration method was a proper method for Muli Siger dance learning. The female students who previously did not learn muli Siger dancing, with this demonstration method, they were able to perform Muli Siger dancing properly as it was taught. The results of Muli Siger dance learning by using demonstration method showed that the female students averagely were able to perform Muli Siger dancing properly as it was taught. The assessments were given by considering 3 aspects. They were technical movements, movement accordance with music, and expression. Assessments were made together with the art and culture teacher and then the marks were divided by 2 (two). The overall students’ marks could be seen in observation and evaluation tables indicating that 6 students (50%) received very good criteria, 5 students (41.5%) received good criteria, 1 student (8.5%) received enough criteria, 0 student (0%) received poor criteria, and 0 student (0%) failed.
