Hypertension is one of the main risk of heart diseasse, blood vessels and early death. One of the solutions to cope with it is diet. Unfortunately, a lot of patients are disobedient due to their lack of knowledge. The purpose of this research is to investigate the level of knowledge and attitude toward behavior on a less salt diet of hypertension at Puskesmas Budidaya, Palas Subdistrict, South Lampung. The method of this research was analytical by cross sectional approach. This research was conducted on October 2014 until January 2015. The sample were taken by using simple random sampling where there were 158 people included from the total number of both new and old hypertension patiens treated at Puskesmas Bumidaya on August 2014 based on medical record. The statistical analysis used was double logistyc regresion. The result of the research showed 38,8% of respondence with less knowledge, 65,5% of respondence with low attitude, and 54% of respondence have an unappropiate behavior on less salt diet. It was concluded from the research that there was a meaningful correlations among level of knowlegde (p=0,0001) and attitude (p=0,0001) toward less salt diet behavior on patients with hypertension at Puskesmas Bumidaya, Palas Subdistric, South Lampung. HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP TERHADAP PERILAKU DIET RENDAH GARAM PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS BUMIDAYA, KECAMATAN PALAS, LAMPUNG SELATAN Hipertensi merupakan salah satu faktor resiko utama penyakit jantung, pembuluh darah dan menyebabkan kematian dini. Salah satu penanganannya adalah diet, akan tetapi banyak pasien yang tidak patuh dikarenakan pengetahuan yang kurang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap perilaku diet rendah garam pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Bumidaya, Kecamatan Palas, Lampung Selatan. Metode penelitian ini bersifat analitik dengan pendekatan crosss sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Puskesmas Bumidaya pada bulan Oktober 2014 sampai dengan Januari 2015. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dan berjumlah 158 orang yang merupakan jumlah keseluruhan pasien lama dan baru pasien hipertensi yang berobat di Puskesmas Bumidaya hingga bulan Agustus 2014 dalam rekam medis. Analisis statistik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi logistik berganda. Penelitian ini mendapatkan 38,8% responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang, 65,5% responden memiliki sikap kurang, dan 54% responden memilki perilaku diet rendah garam yang tidak sesuai. Pada penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan (p=0,0001) dan sikap (p=0,0001) terhadap perilaku diet rendah garam pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Bumidaya, Kecamatan Palas, Lampung Selatan.
