Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan karakter belajar dan hasil belajar dengan menggunakan media audio visual. Metode yang digunakan yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dengan 3 siklus untuk membentuk karakter siswa. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan antara lain observasi, dokumentasi foto dan tes, hal tersebut dilakukan sebagai dasar untuk menafsirkan hasil penelitian di setiap siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan media audio visual dapat membentuk karakter dan hasil belajar siswa kelas VII.B. Pada siklus 1, pelaksanaan tindakan pembelajaran audio visual dengan menayangkan satu kali dan membentuk 4 kelompok dari semua jumlah siswa dan setiap kelompok berjumlah 9 siswa dengan kegiatan pembelajaran antara lain observasi/mengamati tayangan audio visual, mencatat makna/hal-hal penting dari tayangan audio visual, diskusi kelompok, membuat laporan kelompok, presentasi, tanya jawab dan menyimpulkan, menunjukkan bahwa karakter siswa dalam satu kelas berkategori berkarakter dan hasil belajar siswa belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan kelas. Pada siklus 2, pelaksanaan tindakan pembelajaran audio visual dengan menayangkan dua kali dan membentuk 5 kelompok dari semua jumlah siswa dan setiap kelompok berjumlah 7-8 siswa dengan kegiatan pembelajaran antara lain observasi/mengamati tayangan audio visual, mencatat makna/hal-hal penting dari tayangan audio visual, diskusi kelompok, membuat laporan kelompok, presentasi, tanya jawab dan menyimpulkan, menunjukkan bahwa karakter siswa dalam satu kelas berkategori berkarakter dan hasil belajar siswa belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan kelas. Pada siklus 3, pelaksanaan tindakan pembelajaran audio visual dengan menayangkan dua kali dan membentuk 6 kelompok dari semua jumlah siswa dan setiap kelompok berjumlah 6 siswa dengan kegiatan pembelajaran antara lain observasi/mengamati tayangan audio visual, mencatat makna/hal-hal penting dari tayangan audio visual, diskusi kelompok, membuat laporan kelompok, presentasi, tanya jawab dan menyimpulkan, menunjukkan bahwa karakter siswa dalam satu kelas berkategori berkarakter dan hasil belajar siswa sudah mencapai kriteria ketuntasan kelas, ada hubungan yang kurang erat antara karakter dengan hasil belajar. Kata kunci : Media Audio Visual, Karakter dan Hasil Belajar. ABSTRACT This study aimed to describe the character of learning and learning outcomes by using audio-visual media. The method used is a class action research conducted by 3 cycles to form the character of students. Data collection tool used include observation, photo documentation and testing, it is done as a basis for interpreting the results of the research in each cycle. The results of this study show the audiovisual media can shape the character and class of student learning outcomes VII.B. In cycle 1, the implementation of audio-visual learning action by airing one time and form 4 groups of all the number of students and each group has 9 students with learning activities include observation / watch the audio-visual, noting the meaning / important matters of audio-visual impressions , group discussions, group reports, presentations, discussion and concluded, showed that students in a class character categorized character and student learning outcomes have not reached grade completeness criteria. In cycle 2, the implementation of audio-visual learning action by airing twice and formed five groups of all the number of students and each group numbered 7-8 students with learning activities include observation / watch the audio-visual, noting the meaning / important things of impressions audio-visual, group discussions, group reports, presentations, discussion and concluded, showed that students in a class character categorized character and student learning outcomes have not reached grade completeness criteria. In cycle 3, the implementation of audio-visual learning action by airing twice and formed six groups of all the number of students and each group amounted to 6 students with learning activities include observation / watch the audio-visual, noting the meaning / important matters of audio-visual impressions , group discussions, group reports, presentations, discussion and concluded, showed that students in a class character categorized character and student learning outcomes have reached the completeness criteria class, there is a close relationship between the characters with less learning outcomes.
