Abstract
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation (GI) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Semaka tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-C dan VII-D ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain penelitian adalah posttest only control group design. Data penelitian ini adalah data hasil kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui tes. Tes dilakukan setelah selesai tahap pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa model kooperatif tipe GI berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Semaka tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Kata kunci : group investigation, pemahaman konsep, pembelajaran kooperatif.
