Abstract
Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space (RKHS) is the Hilbert space of the set of func- tions that the kernel function can reproduce. The development of data science has made RKHS a method that refers to an approach or technique using the concept of reproducing kernels in certain applications, especially machine learning. Support Vector Machine (SVM) is one of the machine learning methods included in the supervised learning category for classification and regression tasks. This research aims to determine the form of linear kernel functions, polynomial kernel functions, and Gaussian kernel functions in Support Vector Machine analysis and to analyze their performance in Support Vector Machine classification and regression. Appli- cation of the RKHS method in SVM classification analysis using World Disaster Risk Dataset data published by Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict (IFHV) from Ruhr-University Bochum in 2022 obtained results that are based on the results. By comparing the predictions of training data and testing data using linear kernel functions, polynomial kernels and Gaussian kernels, it is recom- mended that classification using linear kernels provides the best prediction perfor- mance. Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space (RKHS) merupakan ruang Hilbert dari himpun- an fungsi-fungsi yang dapat direproduksi oleh fungsi kernel. Perkembangan sains data menjadikan RKHS sebagai suatu metode yang mengacu pada pendekatan atau teknik menggunakan konsep reproducing kernel dalam aplikasi tertentu, khususnya machine learning. Support Vector Machine (SVM) merupakan salah satu machine learning yang tergolong dalam kategori supervised learning untuk tugas klasifika- si dan regresi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk fungsi kernel linear, fungsi kernel polinomial, dan fungsi kernel Gaussian pada analisis Support Vector Machine. Selanjutnya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kiner- ja fungsi kernel, fungsi kernel polinomial, dan fungsi kernel Gaussian pada Sup- port Vector Machine klasifikasi dan regresi. Aplikasi metode RKHS dalam analisis SVM klasifikasi dengan menggunakan data World Disaster Risk Dataset yang di- publikasikan Institute for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict (IFHV) dari Ruhr-University Bochum pada tahun 2022 diperoleh hasil bahwa perbanding- an prediksi data training dan data testing menggunakan fungsi kernel linear, kernel polinomial, dan kernel Gaussian diperoleh rekomendasi bahwa klasifikasi menggu- nakan kernel linear memberikan kinerja prediksi yang paling baik. Kata-kata kunci: fungsi kernel linear, fungsi kernel polinomial, fungsi kernel Ga- ussian, Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Space.
