Abstract
Edge locating chromatic number of a graph G, denoted by χ′ (G), is the minimum number of colors required for an edge locating coloring of G. This paper investigates edge locating chromatic number of the sun graphs Cn ⊙K1 and the sun barbell graphs BCn ⊙K1 . The results show that χ′ (Cn ⊙K1) = 4 for n = 3, 4, and χ′ (Cn ⊙K1 ) = 5 for n L ≥ 5. Furthermore, it is obtained that χ′ (BCn ⊙K1 L) = 5 for all n ≥ 3. Keywords: edge locating chromatic number, sun graph, barbell sun graph Bilangan kromatik lokasi sisi dari graf G dinotasikan dengan χ′ (G), adalah minimum warna yang dibutuhkan untuk pewarnaan lokasi sisi dari graf G. Penelitian ini membahas tentang bilangan kromatik lokasi sisi graf matahari Cn ⊙ K1 dan graf barbel matahari BCn ⊙K1 . Hasil yang diperoleh adalah χ′ (Cn ⊙ K1) = 4 untuk n =, 4 dan χ′ (Cn ⊙ K1 ) = 5 untuk n ≥ 5. Selanjutnya untuk χ′ (B) =3L LCn ⊙K1 5 untuk n ≥ 3. Kata-kata kunci: bilangan kromatik lokasi sisi, graf matahari, graf barbel matahari.
