Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) tingkat kedisiplinan dan kinerja karyawan divisi I dan IV PT Laju Perdana Indah, (2) pengaruh karakteristik individu terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara langsung dan tidak langsung melalui kedisiplinan, dan (3) pengaruh kedisiplinan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT Laju Perdana Indah site Komering, Sumatera Selatan pada departemen pertanian khususnya divisi I dan IV. Pengambilan data dilakukan mulai dari Januari–Februari 2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah sensus dengan jumlah anggota populasi 81 karyawan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kedisiplinan karyawan divisi I dan IV PT Laju Perdana Indah masuk kategori cukup baik, dan rata-rata kinerja karyawan divisi I dan IV sudah memenuhi harapan, (2) masa kerja dan suku karyawan memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan umur, pendidikan, dan jabatan karyawan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan (3) kedisiplinan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata kunci: karakteristik individu, kedisiplinan karyawan, kinerja karyawan. ABSTRACT This research aims to know (1) the discipline level and performance of employees, (2) the influence of individual characteristics on performance of employee through direct or indirect discipline, and (3) the influence of discipline on performance of employee. This research was conducted at PT Laju Perdana Indah site Komering South Sumatera, in Plantation Department specifically in Division 1 and 4. Data of this research was taken from January until February 2015 by a sensus methode that involving 81 employees. The research data was analyzed by descriptive and verificative analysis. The results showed that (1) the discipline level of employees in Division 1and 4 of PT Laju Perdana Indah was good enough and in average the employees performance had already met the expectations. (2) The period of work and ethnic had significantly direct influence on performance of employees, while employee’s age, education, and ethnic did not have influence on performance of employees. (3) The employee discipline had influence on performance of employees. Key words: employee discipline, individual characteristics, employee performance.
