ABSTRAK PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN SINEKTIK MENGGUNAKAN SOSIAL MEDIA PADA PELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS DI SMK KOTA METRO Oleh: FUAD MARDI AL ROSYID Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) potensi dan kondisi, (2) proses dan langkah-langkah pengembangan model pembelajaran sinektik, (3) efektifitas model, (4) efisiensi model dan (5) kemenarikan penerapan model pembelajaran sinektik menggunakan media sosial pada pelajaran bahasa Inggris di SMK se-kota Metro. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan penelitian dan pengembangan, dilaksanakan di SMK Kartikatama, SMK Negeri 3, SMK Muhammadiyah 1 kelas XI (sebelas) dengan jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ). Data diambil menggunakan angket, test, kemudian dianalisis dengan paired t-test. Hasil penelitian ini: (1) hasil analisis kebutuhan dari sisi sifat dan materi dan karakteristik siswa, SMK di Metro memiliki potensi dan kondisi untuk dikembangkan model pembelajaran sinektik dengan menggunakan media sosial, (2) proses dan langkah-langkah pengembangan model pembelajaran sinektik melibatkan ahli media, materi dan desain pembelajaran, (3) penggunaan model pembelajaran sinektik dengan menggunakan media sosial efektif dibuktikan dengan 0,001 thitung < t 0,95(50) maka H0 ditolak, (4) penggunaan model pembelajaran sinektik dengan menggunakan media sosial efesien dibuktikan dengan nilai rasio efesiensi pembelajaran sebesar 1,00 , dan (5) penggunaan model pembelajaran sinektik dengan menggunakan media sosial menarik digunakan dengan skor presentasi kemenarikan sebesar 83,26 %. Kata kunci : hasil belajar bahasa Inggris, sinektik, sosial media ABSTRACT DEVELOPING SYNECTIC TEACHING MODEL THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA IN ENGLISH LESSON IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL OF METRO CITY By: FUAD MARDI ALROSYID The research is aimed to analize : (1)The potentials and conditions, (2) the developement process, (3) the effectiveness, (4) the efficiency and (5) the attractiveness of the application of synectic model through social media in the vocational school of Metro city. The research used research and development (R and D) aproach which was held at SMK Kartikatama, SMK Negeri 3, SMK Muhammadiyah 1 in XI (eleven) class with a major in Computer Engineering and Networking (TKJ). Data was collected using questionnaire, test then analyzed by t-test. The result of the research were: (1) the results of the need analysis from the features of the material and the characteristics of the students had showed that vocational schools in Metro have potential to be developed synectic teaching model through social media, (2) processes and steps in the developing synectic teaching model involved media experts, material expert and instructional design expert, (3) the effectiveness using synectic teaching model through social media was evidenced by 0,001 t count <t 0.95 (50) then H0 is rejected, (4) the efficiency using synectic teaching model through social media was evidenced by the value learning efficiency ratio 1.00, and (5) using synectic teaching model through social media was interesting that was shown by the presentation score of the attractiveness test with amount 83.26%.
