Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

The objective of this research was to find out the correlation between learning motivation, learning media, student’s initial capability and learning results of Social Science subject. This was a survey research with correlation/regression approach. Data were collected by using questionnaires. Research variables were (1) predictor variable; learning motivation and student’s initial capability in social science subject; (2) response variable; the social science learning results. The results showed that (1) there was a correlation between learning motivation and social science learning result. It was indicated by correlation coefficient r x1y = 0.270, and it was proven with significant r-test rcount 0.270 < rtable 0.312. The magnitude of learning motivation correlation was indicated with determination coefficient r2x1y 0.071 or 7.2%; (2) there was a positive correlation between social science learning media and learning result. It was indicated by correlation coefficient r x1,2y = 0.379, and it was proven with significant r-test rcount 0.379 < rtable 0.312. The magnitude of learning media correlation with social science learning result was indicated with determination coefficient r2x2y 0.144 or 14.4%; (3) there was a correlation between student’s initial capability and social science learning result. It was indicated by correlation coefficient r x3,1y = 0.088, and it was proven with significant r-test rcount 0.088 < rtable 0.312. The magnitude of learning motivation correlation was indicated with determination coefficient r2x3,1y 0.07; (4) there was a correlation between learning motivation, social science learning media, and student’s initial capability and student’s learning result with coefficient r x1,2,3y = 0.227, and it was proven with significant r-test rcount 0.227 < rtable 0.312. Keywords : learning motivation, learning media, student’s initial ability, learning results Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui korelasi motivasi belajar media pembelajaran, kemampuan Awal siswa terhadap basil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dengan pendekatan korelasi/regresi. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan melalui angket. Variabel penelitian terdiri dari: (1) variabel prediktor: motivasi belajar, media pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal siswa pelajaran IPS; (2) variabel respon:basil pembelajaran bidang studi IPS Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat korelasi antara motivasi belajar dengan basil pembelajaran IPS yang ditunjukkan koeffisien korelasi r xly = 0,270 dan dibuktikan dengan uji r yang signifikan rhitung 0,270 < r tabel 0,312. Besarnya korelasi motivasi belajar ditunjukkan dengan koefisien determinasi r2xly 0,071 atau 7,2 %; (2) terdapat korelasi positif antara media pembelajaran bidang studi IPS dengan basil belajar dengan koeffisien korelasi rxl,2y = 0,379 dan dibuktikan dengan uji r yang signifikan r hitung 0,379 > r tabel 0,312. besarnya korelasi media pembelajaran dengan hasil belajar IPS ditunjukkan dengan koefisien determinasi r2x2y 0,144 atan 14,4 %; (3) terdapat korelasi antara kemampuan awal siswa dengan basil belajar dengan koefisien korelasi r x31y = 0, 088 dan dibuktikan dengan r hitung 0,088 < r tabel 0,312. Besarnya korelasi kemampuan awal siswa dengan basil belajar IPS ditunjukkan dengan koefisien determinasi r x3,ly = 0, 088 = 0,007 (0,07 %) (4) terdapat korelasi antara motivasi belajar, media pembelajaran , kemampuan awal siswa dengan basil belajar dengan koefisien korelasi r x1,2,3y = 0,227 dan dibuktikan dengan uji r yang signifikan r hitung 0,227 < r tabel 0,312.
