Abstract
Penelitian ini berlatar belakang dari rendahnya kemampuan berhitung anak kelas A dengan rentang usia 4-5 tahun di TK Beringin Raya Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penggunaan permainan tradisional dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berhitung permulaan anak yang meliputi kemampuan membilang dan mengurutkan benda, kemampauan melakukan operasi penjumlahan sederhana dan melakukan operasi pengurangan sederhana. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimental desain dengan menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Penulisan ini menggunakan sampel jenuh sebanyak 12 orang anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, instrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar observasi atau pedoman observasi dalam bentuk lembar ceklis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perolehan nilai Z hitung lebih besar dari Z tabel sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan permainan tradisional berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berhitung permulaan anak. Kata Kunci: Permainan Tradisional Congklak, Kemampuan Berhitung, Anak Usia Dini. THE USE OF TRADITIONAL GAMES ON NUMERACY SKILLS BEGINNING IN CHILDREN 4-5 YEARS OLD IN BERINGIN RAYA KINDLEGARDEN BANDAR LAMPUNG ACADEMIC YEAR 2014/2015 The background of the research is the low numeracy skills of children beginning in class A child by the span of the age of 5 years in Beringin Raya kindlegarden Bandar Lampung. This research aims to know whether the use of traditional games can develo computation capabilities the beginning of the child which includes the ability and rank objects, its capacity to the operation of summing and do the operation of subtraction simle. The method used in this reseach is preeksperimental design with design of one group pretest-posttest. This reasearch using jenuh sample of 12 childrens. Data collecting techniques are observation, assessment instrument using the guidelines for observation or observation sheet in the from of a checklist sheet. Data analyzed using wilcoxon test. The results showed that the acquisition value of Z count is greater than Z table, so it can be concluded that the use of traditional games affect the child’s ability to count beginning. Key Word : Congklak Traditional Game, Numeracy, Early Childhood.
