Abstrak Telah dirancang dan dibuat sebuah alat pengontrol emisi gas amonia (NH3) di peternakan ayam berbasis mikrokontroler ATMega 8535 menggunakan sensor gas MQ 137. Alat ini memiliki dua sistem kerja yaitu alat ukur kadar amonia dan kendali untuk mengurangi emisi gas amonia dalam kandang. Alat ukur kadar amonia dikalibrasi menggunakan spektrometer. Data dari sensor diolah oleh mikrokontroler yang hasilnya ditampilkan oleh LCD M1632. Proses pengambilan, pengolahan, komunikasi data, dan kendali diatur oleh program pada mikrokontroler ATMega 8535 dengan bahasa pemrograman BASCOM. Pengukuran dilakukan pada sampel yang berupa campuran antara cairan amonia dan akuades dengan jumlah 100 ml yang diuapkan. Pengukuran dilakukan dalam selang waktu 5 menit. Sampel yang digunakan dengan perbandingan konsentrasi amonia 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml, 20 ml, 25 ml, 30 ml, 35 ml, 40 ml, 45 ml, dan 50 ml. Hasil pengukuran kadar amonia konsentrasi 5 ml sampai 50 ml adalah 4 ppm, 4,5 ppm, 5,2 ppm, 6,5 ppm, 6,7 ppm, 6,9 ppm, 7,9 ppm, 8,5 ppm, 8,9 ppm, dan 10,2 ppm. Pengendalian kadar amonia dalam kandang berupa berputarnya kipas/blower untuk mengurangi emisi gas amonia jika kadar gas amonia dalam kandang melebihi 5 ppm. Selanjutnya, kipas/blower akan berhenti berputar jika kadar gas amonia dalam kandang di bawah 5 ppm. Kata kunci: Amonia, sensor gas MQ 137, mikrokontroler ATMega 8535, bahasa BASCOM. Abstract Have designed and fabricated an emission control device ammonia gas (NH3) at a chicken farm based microcontroller ATMega 8535 by using gas sensor MQ 137. The tool has two working systems that measure the levels of ammonia and control devices to reduce emissions of ammonia gas in the enclosure. Ammonia levels calibrated measuring using spectrometer. The data of sensor was processed by microcontroller and the results are displayed by the LCD M1632. The process of extraction, processing, data communications, and control organized by the program on the microcontroller ATMega 8535 with BASCOM programming language. Measurements were performed on samples in the form of a mixture of liquid ammonia and distilled water with 100 ml evaporated. Measurements were performed in intervals of 5 minutes. The sample used with ammonia concentration 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml, 20 ml, 25 ml, 30 ml, 35 ml, 40 ml, 45 ml and 50 ml. The results of measurements of ammonia concentration of 5 ml to 50 ml is 4 ppm, 4.5 ppm, 5.2 ppm, 6.5 ppm, 6.7 ppm, 6.9 ppm, 7.9 ppm, 8.5 ppm, 8.9 ppm, and 10.2 ppm. Controlling ammonia levels in the cage in the form of rotation of the fan / blower to reduce ammonia emissions if levels of ammonia gas in the enclosure exceeds 5 ppm. Furthermore, the fan / blower will stop spinning if levels of ammonia gas in the enclosure below 5 ppm. Keywords: Ammonia, gas sensor MQ 137, microcontroller ATMega 8535, BASCOM language.
