Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan lingkungan tempat tinggal nelayan dengan titik tekan kajian pada kondisi fisik rumah, sumber air untuk MCK, tempat pembuangan kotoran/jamban, cara pembuangan sampah, pembuangan air limbah, dan pengetahuan kepala keluarga nelayan tentang kesehatan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan populasi 908 KK nelayan. Penarikan sampel menggunakan teknik area Probability dengan rumus slovin 10% dari populasi yaitu 90 KK yang disempurnakan dengan teknik proporsi untuk tiap wilayah. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara terstruktur, teknik dokumentasi, teknik observasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) kondisi fisik rumah KK nelayan tidak sehat ditinjau dari bahan bangunan, kepadatan penghuni, ventilasi udara dan jendela tidak memenuhi syarat kesehatan (2) sumber air yang digunakan sebagian besar menggunakan air PDAM, berstatus milik bersama, dan memenuhi syarat fisik air sehat (3) tempat pembuangan kotoran/jamban tidak sehat karena sebagian besar menggunakan jamban tipe cemplung tanpa tempat penampungan bagi tinja (4) cara pembuangan sampah rumah tangga tidak sehat karena sebagian besar membuang sampah langsung ke laut (5) tempat pembuangan air limbah tidak sehat karena langsung di alirkan ke laut (6) tingkat pengetahuan nelayan tentang kesehatan lingkungan tergolong tinggi namun KK nelayan tidak menerapkan pengetahuan yang dimiliki dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kata Kunci: Lingkungan Tempat Tinggal, Nelayan, dan Wilayah Pesisir. ABSTRACT This research is purposed to describe the neighborhood of fishermen by emphasizing the study at the physical condition of house, a source of clean water for daily needs, sewage disposal, destruction process of household waste, waste water disposal, and the fishermen knowledge about environmental health. This research used descriptive method in which 908 of householder is taken as a population. Probability area techniques with a slovin formula is used as a sample withdrawal, in which 10% of the population or for about 90 of householder were enchanced by proportion techniques in each region. In collecting the data, the researcher used structured interview techniques, documentation, and observation techniques. For analysis, the researcher used percentage analysis techniques. The results of the research shows, than (1) the physical condition of the house of fishermens are not healthy because the parameters of building materials, the density of occupants, air vents and windows do not meet health requirements (2) water sources used fishermen mostly from water taps (PDAM), the status of the commons, and qualified physically healthy water (3) sewage disposal/latrine is not healthy because most fishermen used a type of pit latrine without place holdea for feces (4) disposal of household waste is not healthy because most fishermen dispose of wastes directly into the sea (5) wastewater disposal sites used fishermen un healthy because wastewater directly discharged into the sea (6) the fishermens’s knowledge about environmental health is high, but the fishermen are not applying knowledge.
