Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

Era globalisasi saat ini konsep kualitas merupakam kriteria penting untuk menilai keberhasilan organisasi. Disajikan argumen penting manajemen mutu dalam perusahaan. Diantara sejumlah besar model manajemen mutu telah dialokasikan dalam Total Quality Management (TQM) dan sistem quality control. Berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip, metode dan alat-alat serta proses bisnis siklus hidup dapat menciptakan model konseptual TQM. Dalam penulisan skripsi ini, objek penelitian yang di teliti adalah Implementasi Total Quality Management pada bagian produksi pengolahan Frozen Shrimp di PT. Indokom Samudra Persada. PT. Indokom Samudra Perada merupakan salah satu perusahaan ekspor udang beku di Indonesia khususnya di Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa penelitian lapangan dan penelitian kepustakaan. Data primer diperoleh dengan cara mengadakan wawancara dan observasi. Sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dengan dari literatur-literatur yang berhubungan dengan masalah yang sedang diteliti. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan, dapat dikemukan bahwa penerapan TQM pada PT. Indokom Samudra Persada sudah memadai. Dengan demikian, secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa PT. Indokom Samudra Persada telah menerapakan TQM dengan baik. Penerapan TQM ini menjadi hal yang penting bagi PT. Indokom Samudra Persada terutama dalam meningkatkan daya saing dengan perusahaan lain yang sejenis. Kata kunci: manajemen mutu, total quality management, quality control abstract In the era of globalization, the concept of quality as an important criterion for judging the success of the organization. Among the large number of models of quality management has been allocated in the Total Quality Management (TQM) and quality control system. Based on the principles, methods and tools as well as the business process lifecycle can create a conceptual model of TQM. In writing this essay, the object is the meticulous research on the implementation of Total Quality Management in the production of Frozen Shrimp processing in PT. Indokom Samudra Persada. PT. Indokom Samudra Persada is one of the frozen shrimp export company in Indonesia, especially in Lampung. The method used is a case study approach to data collection techniques of field research and literature research. Primary data obtained by conducting interviews and observations. While secondary data obtained from literatures related to the problem being studied. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been done, can expressed that the adoption of TQM at PT. Indokom Samudra Persada is adequate. Thus, in general it can be concluded that PT. Indokom Samudra Persada has been applying TQM well. The application of TQM has become essential for the PT. Indokom Samudra Persada particularly in enhancing the competitiveness with other similar companies. Keywords: quality management, total quality management, quality control ,.
