Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan bagaimanakah penggunaan model Kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share dalam pembelajaran tari sigeh penguten di SMA Paranarta 1 Seputih Banyak.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang di gunakan yaitu model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share, pembelajaran, dan tari sigeh penguten. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share, tari sigeh penguten, guru/pelatih tari dan 9 siswi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, non tes sebagai instrumen panduan yaitu pengamatan proses pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share.Prosedur inti pelaksanaan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share meliputi 3 tahap. Pertama adalah tahap Think, siswa diminta untuk berfikir tentang ragam gerak tari. Tahap Pair, siswa diminta untuk dapat berdiskusi dengan siswa lain secara berpasangan. Tahap Pair, siswa diminta untuk mampu menjelaskan hasil diskusinya didepan kelas.Hasil penggunaan model Think Pair Share pada pembelajaran tari di SMA Paramarta 1 Seputih Banyak diketahui terdapat modifikasi yang dilakukan pada tahap Think, sehingga terdapat ketidak sesuaian dengan prosedur yang seharusnya. Selain itu juga terdapat masalah yang dialami oleh siswi dalam tahap Pair dimana tidak semua siswi mendapatkan pasangan yang diinginkannya sehingga berpengaruh pada keaktifan siswa. ______ Kata Kunci : Pembelajaran, Think Pair Share, Tari Sigeh Penguten. ABSTRACT This research is trying to describe about how to use the Cooperative model type Think Pair Share on learning Sigeh Penguten dance in SMA Paramarta 1 Seputih Banyak. The method of this research use Qualitative Descriptive method. The theory on this reearch is Cooperative model type Think Pair Share, learning, and Sigeh Penguten dance. Source data of this research is Cooperative model type Think Pair Share, Sigeh Penguten dance, teacher and 9 students. The technique to collect data on this research is obsevation, interview, documentation, non test. As an instrument intruction is monitoring the proses of learning use Cooperative model type Think Pair Share. The point procedure in Cooperative model type Think Pair Share include 3 steps. First is Think step, the teacher ask students to think about movement kind of the dance. Then the Pair step, the teacher ask students to make a discussion with other students. The last is Share step, the teacher ask student to share about the result of discussion in front of class. The result by using Think Pair Share dance learning in SMA Paramarta 1 Seputih Banyak is be found a modification on Think step which not appropriate with the procedure. Be side, there is any a problem who experienced by the student on Pair step which not every student get partner as their wish. As the result, this problem effected on their activity. ______ Key word : Learning, Think Pair Share, Sigeh Penguten dance.
