Abstract

Differential equation theorem has been developing, the method used is various depends on the kind of the equation. There are two kinds of method to solve differential equation, the first one is analytically and the second is numerically. It will be discussed about numeric solution dor dirichlet boundary condition differential equation by comparing finite difference method and shooting method. Keyword : Ordinary differential equations, numerical solutions, finite difference method, shooting method. Teori persamaan diferensial sudah cukup berkembang, dan metode yang digunakan bervariasi sesuai dengan jenis persamaan. Terdapat dua macam cara dalam menyelesaikan persamaan diferensial, pertama secara analitis dan kedua secara numerik. Penulis akan membahas tentang solusi numerik untuk penyelesaian persamaan diferensial syarat batas dirichlet dengan membandingkan metode beda hingga dan metode tembak linear.
