ABSTRAK BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACK BAHASA INGGRISPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Keuntungan usahatani tembakau virginia di Kecamatan Way Lima Kabupaten Pesawaran (2) Tingkat risiko usahatani tembakau virginia di Kecamatan Way Lima Kabupaten Pesawaran. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sidodadi, Kecamatan Way Lima, Kabupaten Pesawaran. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Keuntungan atas biaya total usahatani tembakau virginia sebesar Rp. 19.484.200,58 dengan R/C atas biaya total sebesar 1,45, artinya bahwa usahatani ini menguntungkan karena total penerimaan lebih besar dari total pengeluaran. (2) Hasil analisis risiko petani responden diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai CV ≤ 0,5 dan nilai L ≥ 0. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa petani responden di Kecamatan Way Lima Kabupaten Pesawaran terhindar dari risiko. Hasil dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara keuntungan dan risiko yang diterima petani. Kata Kunci : keuntungan, risiko, tembakau virginia ABSTRACT THE PROFIT AND RISK ANALYSES OF VIRGINIA TOBACCO FARMING IN SIDODADI VILLAGE WAY LIMA DISTRICT PESAWARAN REGENCY by Prajanti Anuka Dewi This research is aimed at investigating: (1) the profit of virginia tobacco farming (2) the risk level of virginia tobacco farming. The research was conducted in Sidodadi village, Way Lima District. 30 virginia tobacco farmers were as respondents. The research method applied was a survey method. The results showed that: (1) profit from the total cost virginia tobacco farming was Rp. 19,484,200,58 and R/C of 1.45on the total cost, it shows that farming is profitable because the total revenue is greater than the total cost (2) the results of the risk analysis showed that the respondents CV value ≤ 0,5 and the value of L ≥ 0. This is showed that the farmers in Way Lima district Pesawaran Regency has a low risk. The result from the analyses showed, there is a relationship between the profit and the risk.
