Abstrak

Lack of intellectual and social competence of students form the basis of this research. This research aims to analyze the social studies learning based multiple intelligence in improving students' intellectual and social competence eighth grade junior Darul Ulum Sekampung. The approach of this study is action research with three cycles. The first cycle with PPKB-Cooperative Learning Models, The Second cycles with PPKB-CTL models, and the third cycles with PPKB-dramatic models. The data collection tool include: testing, observation and questionnaires attitude. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show that: (1) there is an increase in intellectual competence with the average value of 67 in the first cycle, increased to 72 in the second cycles, and increased to 81 in the third cycles. Increased mastery learning by 56% in the first cycle, rising to 74% in the second cycles, then increased to 91% in the third cycles. (2) there is an increasing social competence at 74% with 56% mastery on the first cycle, to 80% with 74% completeness on the second cycles, after which it increased to 88% with 91% mastery on the third cycles. Through high social attitudes questionnaire found 8 people (24%) in the first cycle, to 13 people (38%) in the second cycles, increased to 27 people (79%) in the third cycles. Social attitudes were 14 people (41%) in the first cycle, to 16 people (46%) in second cycles, to 4 people (12%) in third cycles; low social attitudes consist of 12 people (35%) in the first cycle, being 5 people (16%) in the second cycles, and it was 3 people (9%) in the third cycles. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembelajaran IPS berbasis kecerdasan majemuk dalam meningkatkan kompetensi intelektual dan kompetensi sosial di SMP Darul Ulum Sekampung. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan 3 siklus. Siklus 1 dengan model SPPKB-Cooperative Learning, siklus 2 dengan Model SPPKB-CTL, dan siklus 3 dengan model SPPKB-Sosiodrama. Adapun alat pengumpul data meliputi: tes, pedoman observasi dan angket sikap. Data dianalisis secara dekriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat peningkatan kompetensi intelektual dengan nilai rata-rata 67 pada siklus 1, meningkta menjadi 72 pada siklus 2, dan meningkat menjadi 81 pada siklus 3. Peningkatan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 56% pada siklus 1, meningkat menjadi 74% pada siklus 2, kemudian meningkat menjadi 91% pada siklus 3; (2) terdapat peningkatan kompetensi sosial sebesar 74% dengan ketuntasan 56% pada siklus 1, menjadi 80% dengan ketuntasan 74% pada siklus 2, setelah itu meningkat menjadi 88% dengan ketuntasan 91% pada siklus 3. Melalui angket ditemukan sikap sosial tinggi 8 orang (24%) pada siklus 1, menjadi 13 orang (38%) pada siklus 2, meningkat menjadi 27 orang (79%) pada siklus 3. Sikap sosial sedang 14 orang (41%) pada siklus 1, menjadi 16 orang (46%) pada siklus 2, menjadi 4 orang (12%) pada siklus 3. Sikap sosial rendah 12 orang (35%) pada siklus 1, menjadi 5 orang pada siklus 2, dan menjadi 3 orang pada siklus 3.
