Abstract
ABSTRACT Generalized weibull distribution is a generalization of the weibull distribution by adding one new parameter that a location parameter(α). Related to paramater estimation for continuous distribution we know several methods of estimation,one of methods is a generalized method of moment. In this study, we examine the characteristics of parameter estimator of generalized weibull distribution using generalized method of moment. We investigate the characteristics of unbiasness, minimum varianced, and consistent. The results show that the characteristics of parameter estimators (α ̂,β ̂,dan δ ̂ ) are unbiased and have minimum variances. The variances attain Rao-Cramer lower bound. By using software R version 3.1.2, this research also present the graphs of probability density function with different values of parameters. ABSTRAK Distribusi generalized weibull merupakan perumuman dari distribusi weibull dengan menambahkan satu parameter baru yaitu parameter lokasi(α). Berkaitan dengan pendugaan parameter distribusi kontinu dikenal beberapa metode pendugaan salah satunya metode generalized momen. Pada penelitian ini mengkaji tentang karakteristik penduga parameter distribusi generalized weibull dengan menggunakan metode generalized momen yang meliputi sifat tak bias, ragam minimum, dan konsisten. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa penduga parameter (α ̂,β ̂,dan δ ̂ ) memiliki karakteristik penduga yang baik yaitu tak bias, ragam minimum karena mencapai batas bawah Rao-Cramer dan konsisten. Selain itu, disajikan pula kurva fungsi kepekatan peluang distribusi generalized weibull menggunakan software R versi 3.1.2, untuk beberapa nilai parameter yang berbeda. Kata Kunci : Distribusi Generalized Weibull, Metode Generalized Momen, , Tak Bias, ragam Minimum, Konsisten.
