Abstrak (Berisi Bastraknya saja, Judul dan Nama Tidak Boleh di Masukan)

This qualitative study aims to explore the perceptions of French language teachers in several secondary schools in Bandar Lampung regarding the challenges faced in French language education, the efforts made to overcome these challenges, and their expectations for French language education in schools. The teachers' perceptions will be divided into two parts and collected through semi-structured interviews. The findings of the study indicate that French language teachers have a highly positive perception of French language education, although they require support from the school. Their expectations include improved promotion of French language education, providing more autonomy for teachers, and optimizing facilities and instructional media. This is to ensure that French language education is not merely considered as a cross-curricular subject. The study aims to generate appropriate and optimal solutions to enhance French language education in the future.
