Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas III SD Negeri 8 Simpang Pematang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen (pre-eksperimen design). Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis teknik sampling purposive dengan sampel sebanyak 27 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian yaitu menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam penerapan model problem posing terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas III SD Negeri 8 Simpang Pematang Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Kata Kunci : berpikir kritis, model problem posing The problem in this study is the low critical thinking skills of students. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of the Problem Posing learning model on the critical thinking skills of students in Class III SD Negeri 8 Simpang Pematang. The research method used is the quantitative method with an experimental approach (pre-experimental design). The research design used is one group pretest-posttest design. This study uses a non -probability sampling technique with a type of purposive sampling technique with a sample of 27 students. Research data collection techniques are using test and non -test techniques. The data analysis technique in this study is to use a simple regression test. The results of the study were there was a significant influence in the application of the problem posing model on the critical thinking skills of students in class III SD Negeri 8 Simpang Pematang for the 2024/2025 academic year..
