Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan model kausalitas antara perilaku pro-lingkungan dengan sikap lingkungan, kepedulian lingkungan, dan pemahaman Nature of Science (NOS) pada isu sosiosaintifik siswa SMA di Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian survei. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Kuesioner Sikap Lingkungan, Kepedulian Lingkungan, Perilaku Pro- Lingkungan, Student Understanding of Science and Scientific Inquiry (SUSSI), dan Nature of Science Views Across Socioscientific Issues (NOSC). Kuesioner-kusioner tersebut merupakan kuesioner lintas budaya milik peneliti lain dari luar negeri, yang telah diadaptasi menggunakan metode back and forward translation dan peninjauan oleh ahli (expert review). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X, XI, dan XII Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) di Provinsi Lampung. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, dan didapatkan siswa SMA kelas X, XI dan XII yang tersebar di enam sekolah yang ada di Kota Bandar Lampung, Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, dan Kabupaten Pesawaran sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah teknik Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbantuan SPSS AMOS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku pro- lingkungan siswa SMA di Provinsi Lampung dipengaruhi secara signifikan oleh sikap lingkungan, kepedulian lingkungan (secara tidak langsung), dan pemahaman NOS pada isu sosiosaintifik. Kata kunci: perilaku pro-lingkungan, sikap lingkungan, kepedulian lingkungan, pemahaman nature of science pada isu sosiosaintifik This study aims to describe the causal model between pro-environmental behavior with environmental attitudes, environmental concern, and understanding of the Nature of Science (NOS) on socioscientific issues among high school students in Lampung Province. This study employs a survey research design. The instruments used include Questionnaires on Environmental Attitudes, Environmental Concern, Pro- Environmental Behavior, Student Understanding of Science and Scientific Inquiry (SUSSI), and Nature of Science Views Across Socioscientific Issues (NOSC). These questionnaires are cross-cultural questionnaires developed by foreign researchers, which have been adapted using the back and forward translation method and expert review. The population in this study consists of 10th, 11th, and 12th grade high school students in Lampung Province. Sampling was conducted using cluster random sampling, resulting in students from grades X, XI, and XII of six schools located in Bandar Lampung, Lampung Selatan, and Pesawaran as the research sample. The analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) assisted by SPSS AMOS. The results of the study indicate that pro-environmental behavior of high school students in Lampung Province is significantly influenced by environmental attitudes, environmental concern (indirectly), and understanding of NOS on socio- scientific issues.
