This study investigates the concept of homoderivation on Lie algebras using the commutator [a, b] =ab−ba . The objectives of this research are to define homoderivations on Lie algebras, analyze their properties, and examine their relationship with Lie derivations. The research method is based on a literature review and theoretical analysis, involving the formulation of definitions, the establishment of theorems, and the development of rigorous proofs supported by relevant examples. The results show that homoderivations on Lie algebras constitute an extension of the concept of Lie derivations while remaining consistent with the Lie bracket structure. Several fundamental properties of homoderivations are established, including those related to linearity and their interaction with Lie ideals. Furthermore, it is proven that every Lie derivation is a homoderivation; however, the converse does not generally hold. Hence, homoderivations on Lie algebras can be regarded as a generalization of Lie derivations under certain conditions. Keywords: derivation, homoderivation, Lie derivation, Lie algebra, commutator. Penelitian ini membahas konsep homoderivasi pada aljabar Lie dengan menggunakan komutator [a.b] =ab−ba . Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendefinisikan homoderivasi pada aljabar Lie, menganalisis sifat-sifatnya, serta menyelidiki hubungannya dengan derivasi Lie. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dan analisis teoritis dengan menyusun definisi, teorema, pembuktian, serta contoh-contoh yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa homoderivasi pada aljabar Lie merupakan pengembangan dari konsep derivasi Lie yang tetap konsisten terhadap strukturbracketLie. Diperoleh beberapa sifat homoderivasi pada aljabar Lie, di antaranya berkaitan dengan linearitas dan keterkaitannya terhadap struktur ideal Lie. Selain itu, ditunjukkan bahwa setiap derivasi Lie merupakan homoderivasi pada aljabar Lie, namun tidak setiap homoderivasi pada aljabar Lie merupakan derivasi Lie, sehingga homoderivasi pada aljabar Lie dapat dipandang sebagai generalisasi dari derivasi Lie dengan memenuhi kondisi tertentu.
