Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi dinamika atmosfer terhadap kehidupan di SMA Negeri 1 Raman Utara. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif sebagai salah satu ciri kognitif. Berpikir kreatif yaitu kemampuan menghasilkan ide-ide baru, memecahkan masalah dengan cara yang inovatif, serta meningkatkan kualitas pemikiran siswa. Namun, dalam praktiknya, penerapan model project based learning masih terbatas pada mata pelajaran saintek serta belum optimalnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa merupakan permasalahan yang terjadi di SMAN 1 Raman Utara, khususnya pada mata pelajaran geografi. Model project based learning dipilih karena diyakini mampu memberikan pembelajaran yang aktif, kontekstual, dan berpusat pada siswa, sehingga menghasilkan ide dan solusi secara inovatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian menggunakan two group post-test only control design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X.2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas X.3 sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji independent sample t test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa Model project based learning dinyatakan berpengaruh terhadap berpikir kreatif dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar (0,004 < 0,05) di kelas X SMA 1 Raman Utara. Kata kunci: geografi, PjBL, berpikir kreatif, model pembelajaran, proyek This study aims to determine the effect of the project-based learning model on students' creative thinking skills in the topic of atmospheric dynamics and life at SMA Negeri 1 Raman Utara. The background of this study is based on the importance of creative thinking as a cognitive characteristic. Creative thinking is the ability to generate new ideas, solve problems in innovative ways, and improve the quality of students' thinking. However, in practice, the application of the projectbased learning model is still limited to science and technology subjects, and suboptimal student creative thinking skills are a problem at SMAN 1 Raman Utara, particularly in geography. The project-based learning model was chosen because it is believed to provide active, contextual, and student-centered learning, resulting in innovative ideas and solutions. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a two-group post-test only control design. The sample was grade 10.2 students as the experimental class and grade 10.3 students as the control class, selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis used an independent sample t-test to test the research hypotheses. The results of the study showed that the project-based learning model was stated to have an influence on creative thinking with a significance value of (0.004 < 0.05) in class X SMA 1 Raman Utara.
