Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya keterampilan sosial siswa terutama dalam kerja kelompok di kelas IV Arofah di SD Muhammadiyah Pringsewu tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dalam kerja kelompok mata pelajaran IPS dengan outdoor study. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 3 siklus dan setiap siklus mempunyai 4 tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Peneliti mengumpulkan data dengan melakukan observasi menggunakan lembar instrumen observasi keterampilan sosial siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran outdoor study dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dalam kerja kelompok, siklus III keterampilan sosial dalam kerja kelompok siswa setiap indikatornya terlihat pada indikator bergiliran atau berbagi memperoleh kriteria sangat baik dengan skor total 109 atau 90,83%, indikator memberikan kritik dan saran memperoleh kriteria baik dengan skor total 104 atau 86,66%, indikator mengontrol emosi memperoleh kriteria sangat baik skor total 96 atau 80%, indikator memperoleh kriteria sangat baik dengan skor total 91 atau 50,83%, indikator menyampaikan pendapat pemecahan masalah memperoleh kriteria baik dengan total skor 82 atau 63,33%, indikator menerima pendapat mencari solusi bersama mendapatkan kriteria baik dengan skor total 84 atau 70%. Kata kunci: Outdoor Study dan Keterampilan Sosial Abstrak Bahasa Inggris This research is motivated lack of social skills of students, especially in group work in class IV SD Muhammadiyah Pringsewu Arofah in the academic year 2014/2015. Therefore, this study aims to improve social skills in group work and social studies with outdoor study. The research methodology approach Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of 3 cycles and each cycle has four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Researchers collected data by observation using observation instruments sheet social skills of students. The results show that the study of outdoor learning can improve social skills in group work, the results of observations on the third cycle of social skills in group work students each indicator is visible on the first indicator to obtain the criteria very well with a total score of 109 or 90.83%, both indicators of good criteria to obtain a total score of 104 or 86.66%, the third indicator gain criterion very good total score of 96 or 80%, the fourth indicator is very good criteria to obtain a total score of 91 or 50.83%, a good indicator of the five criteria to obtain a total score of 82 or 63.33%, the sixth indicator get both criteria with a total score of 84 or 70%.
